Drift  System

      Drift  is a 3 season trekking pole tent with
       a bright spacious interior. It has a six sided,
       ground hugging profile that is designed to
       be tensioned to a high degree to give a strong
       and stable structure.  Using 2 poles for support
       opens up the interior and gives more usable
       space than single pole designs.

       Deep  vestibules provide space for
       changing out of and storing wet gear.  
       Vestibule doors can be rolled back to fully
       open up one or both sides of the tent for
       views and increased airflow.  The tent can
       also be suspended  from above without
       using poles.

       The  flysheet of the Drift can be used alone
       as a tarp. There is a choice of an all mesh inner
       tent  or an inner tent with fabric end panels and
       mesh side panels.

  • Comfortable for 1 person (plus a dog). Length is adequate for someone up to 1.88 metres tall (6ft 2"). Sit up headroom
  • Flysheet height can be raised or lowered by 100mm independently of the inner tent to control ventilation
  • 14 possible tie-out points (6 on sides, 8 at ground level)
  • Rain protected entrance, inner tent will not get wet
  • Doors on both sides, can be opened up for views and airflow
  • Can be used with any hiking poles, including Pacer Poles. The pole  baskets do not need to be removed to pitch the tent.
